Design and paper are the keywords that interconnect all the product designs of Designphil. These are global concepts that include the following: manufacturing original paper; providing products such as letters and notebooks for assisting paper-based communication; and developing the right products for the situation where used.
Introduced below are some of the designs for which Designphil has received awards both in Japan and overseas as a result of our design activities based on this concept.

This was instituted by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 1957. Since then, the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization has selected and awarded creative, excellent designs and products every year. Following privatization in 1998, it became the Good Design Award. Award-winning products are permitted to use the "G-mark". One of the special awards, the Long-selling Good Design Award, is presented to products that have been manufactured and sold for more than 10 years since first being selected, if they pass a reexamination.

This award is presented to excellent design products of corporate exhibitors and designers at Paperworld International Frankfurt Fair and The Ambiente International Trade Fair in Frankfurt. The award is given to beautifully designed and highly functional products that are environmentally friendly and make peoples' lives more enjoyable.

This award is presented annually to the most excellent industrial design products in the world by the International Forum Design Hannover, Germany.

This is an almanac of excellent works carefully selected every year by a panel of more than ten judges out of publicly collected typography-based products by category from graphic designers and art directors.

This almanac features award-winning works in competitions, including Display Design Award, Display Industry Award, JDC Design Award, and Sign Design Award, using photos and data.
